The Neighborhood
Spanning more than a century, the neighborhood is deeply rooted in an exhilarating patchwork of ethnic culture and industry. Through its history it has been home to artists, musicians, craftsmen, builders, beer barons, bohemians and dreamers. We´ve drawn from this historically rich texture to create what is the cornerstone of a neighborhood reborn and redefined by The Residences At Hotel Palomar Milwaukee.
A short walk from The Palomar Residences discover nationally recognized theater, symphony and ballet, a host of music venues from The Bradley Center to the intimate and opulent Pabst Theater, and live performances throughout the summer at Pere Marquette Park.
The neighborhood is also bustling with the sporting life. Get up close to feel the action of NBA and college basketball, hockey and soccer as they add to the diversity and vibrancy of activity on any given night.
To satisfy the night owls, Milwaukee´s famed Water Street is thriving with bars and restaurants to suit every mood. A few blocks south is Historic Old World Third Street rooted in German history, featuring savory cafes and bistros along the original brick paved street. In every direction subtle drum beats draw toward pockets of live jazz, blues and rock and roll. No matter the season, when the sun sets in Milwaukee our city comes to life.
